Configuration Change Management:

ITf(x) views Configuration Management as an important part of IT operations. The reason is 80% of the server or application downtime is caused by mis-configurations and manual errors. The time takes to identify the mis-configuration is very high because of the manual processes and layers to manage servers, applications, networks etc.

ITf(x) Configuration Management enables highly granular configuration of applications down to individual configuration parameters across multiple servers simultaneously. ITf(x) Configuration Management simplifies the tasks of configuring and managing servers and applications across multiple platforms of your enterprise. Each application’s complete configuration can be grouped which includes things like parameter files, user ids, variables and many others and can be managed. The application complete configuration can be snapshot as one entity and audited time to time to identify changes. This will help organizations to eliminate the need for expert administrators on specific applications.
